This role ensures alignment with the organization’s mission of excellence in patient care, education, and research while advancing high-quality, cost-effective care in community settings. The Administrator-Community Hospitals serves as a key liaison between the UMMC executive team and community hospital leadership, fostering integration, performance improvement, and growth. Education & Experience Education and Experience Required: Master’s degree and seven (7) years of leadership experience in healthcare management or hospital operations. Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required: N/A Preferred Qualifications: Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders including frontline staff, physicians, academic leaders, executives, and external agencies—while fostering a culture of organizational effectiveness, quality, safety, and collaboration. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of healthcare financial regulations, accounting principles, budgeting, and reporting, with strong analytical and organizational skills to interpret complex data and inform decision-making. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic and operational plans, optimize financial programs and systems, and provide consultative guidance and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
