Summary

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Expeditionary Warfare Weapons & Energy Systems Department (JX), Weapons Systems Development Division (JXP), Ammunition Engineering Branch (JXPL) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370).

Duties

Help

  • You will serve as Task Manager within the Ammunition Engineering Branch (JXPL), responsible for all actions supporting Drone Killer Cartridge (DKC) project.
  • You will pursue, secure, and manage production of DKC ammunition with multiple industry partners.
  • You will manage and coordinate test operations with Range personnel and Branch engineers.
  • You will be responsible for planning and managing complex technical projects which contribute to the organization's mission, goals, and objectives.
  • You will generate/prepare Financial Statement of Work (SOW) to obtain adequate tasking to meet program office milestone and deliverables to meet fleet's overall requirements.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating technical project resource requirements to develop, plan and execute project schedule, milestones and deliverables to improve efficiency and execution of program operations.

The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
