SummaryYou will serve as a Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Power and Energy Systems DDM Branch (JXMD), Power and Energy Systems Division (JXM), Expeditionary Warfare Weapons and Energy Systems Department (JX) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project.
The NT-06 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13/14.
DutiesHelp
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing a holistic security strategy.
- You will formulate, define and modify overall objectives and requirements to meet the objectives of OECIF.
- You will evaluate feasibility of new concepts and principles and make recommendations on continuance or abandonment of work.
- You will keep abreast of technical achievements within and outside the agency and other nations and evaluate the applicability to DoW program(s).
- You will provide technical advice to top level DoW management and technical personnel, other agencies, and private organizations.
- You will serve as a consultant to other technical experts in the field and provide advice on issues on which experts disagree.
- You will make presentations and write technical reports and papers in area of expertise.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
NT-05 (GS-13/14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
analyzing and evaluating program protection or cybersecurity efforts to develop and implement security policies and plans for acquisition or technology development programs.
