SALARY: The salary range for this position is $82,632.10 to $133,935.92 for Schedule A, and $82,632.10 to $127,239.13 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.Judiciary employees hired prior to August 29, 2015, are considered Schedule A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after August 29, 2015, are considered Schedule B.

The Superior Court Clerk's Office (SCCO) is seeking an individual with excellent supervisory, analytical, communication, and leadership skills to serve as an Administrative Supervisor 4. The selected candidate will work under the direction of the Clerk of the Superior Court or other designee to provide supervisory support to the Municipal Support Team that provides technical assistance and customer service to more than 550 municipal courts statewide. This position supports a team of IT staff in a fast-paced environment overseeing daily tasks and long-term projects to ensure an engaging and rewarding digital experience for our Municipal Court users and workforce.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Candidates should possess an understanding of enterprise networking components. Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong organization skills, flexibility in response to changing priorities, and the ability to analyze problems and find innovative solutions both independently and collaboratively. Experience supporting Municipal applications and systems in an enterprise environment and Microsoft Office applications including Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, SharePoint, XIDM, PEGA, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Zoom are preferred.
REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 3 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.

  • Provide leadership by supervising, coaching, and mentoring team members to foster professional growth and strong collaboration.
  • Administer and oversee the Municipal Court Services team
  • Ensure access compliance by managing and monitoring the teams access and orchestrating the timely release of access as well as the removal of access as per the security policy updates
  • Direct and maintain the Municipal Court Services (MCS) JATS queues to support efficient identity and access management requests, as well as technical application troubleshooting requests
  • Direct and maintain the call recordings for the Municipal Court Services team members to evaluate and train members when interacting with the Municipal Courts and their users
  • Evaluate staffing and technology needs, offering strategic recommendations to management for improved efficiency and resource allocation
  • Build and maintain effective communication channels with representatives from various divisions
  • Delegate tasks to team members and oversee the implementation and progress of long-term projects, ensuring responsibilities are effectively managed and timelines and deliverables are met
  • Monitor and manage ticket tracking for all MCS team-assigned requests, maintaining accurate records and reporting
  • Partner with purchasing teams and vendors to research and obtain competitive quotes for Judiciary IT equipment, such as desktops, laptops, and printers
  • Collaborate with Court Executives to plan and execute Knowledgebase and CRM refresh cycles and deployment schedules for JATS (Salesforce)

Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of professional experience, two (2) years of which shall have included experience in designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting information technology systems and services in the mainframe, server, and network environments. May include analyzing and resolving complex technical problems; generating and testing applications code; performing database administration; administering data security; operating enterprise computer systems; contingency planning, implementing telecommunications facilities; and developing and/or conducting training on IT systems, concepts, applications, policies, or security.
Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year for year basis with one (1) year of such experience being equal to thirty (30) semester hour credits. An Associate's Degree and two (2) years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. A Master's Degree may be substituted for one (1) year of general experience as indicated above. A Law Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of general experience as indicated above.

Driver's License: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.

Authorization to Work: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.

Residency Law: In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), the "New Jersey First Act," all persons newly hired by the Judiciary within one year must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey. Any person may request an exemption from that requirement from the Employee Residency Review Committee in the Department of Labor & Workforce Development on the basis of either hardship or employer critical need.
