Bartlett Regional Hospital is searching for an Administrative Operations Coordinator to join our Operating Room within our Surgical Services Team!

Pay Information:
Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
External Hires: This position starts at $47.67 per hour.Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based upon relevant experience.

Job Summary:

The Surgical Services Operations Coordinator is responsible for working hand-in-hand with the Nurse Manager to oversee daily operations of the Surgical Services unit, which includes staff assignment, oversight, and patient care. The Surgical Services Operations Coordinator is assigned to provide and/or coordinate clinical and non-clinical staff with appropriate education and training. This position works primarily with surgical services units but may provide training and education assistance or oversight to other departments and programs, as assigned by the Director.

Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience: Three (3) years medical office/clinic experience
    • Preferred Experience: Thorough understanding of clinical operations, business line operations, process improvement leadership, and understand of current systems: timekeeping, EMR, Microsoft, etc.
    • Substitutions: Associates degree in healthcare related field and one (1) year of management experience in any area healthcare related OR Six (6) years experience in a healthcare clinic or administrative support including any combination of the following: medical office coordination, medical records management, clinic coding, accounts receivable, billing, and/or collections
