Job Overview
This is a Full-Time position based in our office in Maryland City, Maryland, United States. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office, providing crucial support to our environmental consultants.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day office operations to ensure a well-organised and efficient work environment.
* Coordinate appointments, meetings, and schedules for our team of consultants and manage client communications.
* Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents with a high degree of accuracy.
* Maintain and organise company records, including client files and project documentation, both physically and digitally.
* Handle incoming calls and emails, acting as the first point of contact for many of our clients.
* Assist with basic financial tasks such as processing invoices and tracking office expenses.
* Order office supplies and manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
* Support the team with travel arrangements and the organisation of company events.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in an administrative role, such as an Administrative Officer, Office Administrator, or a similar position.
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and courteous manner.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
* A-levels or equivalent qualification; a degree in Business Administration or a related field is desirable.
* A genuine interest in environmental issues would be a significant advantage.
