Legacy Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in Admin. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting individuals and families throughout South Georgia with compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services.

The CFO reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and assumes a strategic role in the overall management of the organization. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the CFO serves as a credible, knowledgeable and trusted resource to the CEO and other senior leaders. This position is a hands-on and quality-focused financial executive with the experience that combines sound financial leadership with proven business effectiveness. The CFO is responsible for the financial management of the organization to include budget analysis and management, financial modeling and reporting, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, accounting operations, and development & implementation of business strategies. The CFO will offer quality, meaningful analyses, and financial perspectives necessary for organizational decisions and strategic planning. In addition to providing financial leadership to Behavioral Health Services of South Georgia, this position will be responsible for the administration, planning, forecasting and analysis of the financial risk based models related to new products or lines of business.

The CFO is responsible for the direct supervision of the controller and the indirect supervision of all employees in the accounting and finance department, information services, and facilities management. They serve as Assistant Administrator in the absence of the Chief Executive Officer.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance; master's degree preferred
  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CPA) required
  • 5 years minimum experience as a CFO or progressive financial leadership experience with minimum of five years in an operations position.
  • Background coordinating with I.T. staff to manage and/or upgrade accounting system. Systems implementation experience strongly preferred.

Working Conditions: Work is performed in a well-lighted, temperature-controlled, and humidity-controlled environment. May be requested on occasion to travel to trainings, conferences, and meetings as an organization representative. May be requested to travel within the sites in the organization. Ability to perform remote work from home office. Maybe exposed to infectious diseases.

Work Environment: Sit, walk, and stand, may spend up to twenty-five percent of working time standing/walking. Lift, carry, push, pull generally, not more than 20 pounds. Bend, stoop, and kneel; occasional bending and kneeling may be required in troubleshooting equipment. Manual dexterity/wrist and hand repetitions: good manual and finger dexterity is needed; up to fifty percent of working time may be spent using a computer keyboard. Vision, hearing, speaking, must have good visual acuity and depth perception to operate the computer system; speaking and hearing are essential to the communication needs of the position. Must be physically and emotionally fit to work in a stress-filled environment to meet deadlines and deal with crisis situations. Occasional travel to off campus locations using LBHS vehicle may be required
