Position Summary

The Total Rewards Administrator coordinates PCC's compensation, payroll, and benefits activities. This role combines hands-on administration with analysis and process improvement to help ensure employees are paid accurately, compensation decisions are consistent and well-supported, and benefit programs are communicated and administered effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain job descriptions and support job evaluation, market pricing, salary structures, internal-equity reviews, and compensation recommendations.
  • Coordinate compensation processes, including merit increases, pay adjustments, and other employee rewards.
  • Perform and coordinate payroll processing, reconciliations, timekeeping corrections, garnishments, variable payments, and required reporting.
  • Review personnel actions affecting positions, compensation, employment status, benefits, or payroll for accuracy and appropriate documentation. Coordinate benefits administration and employee communication with DMBA and other service partners.
  • Analyze employee, market, utilization, and cost information to recommend total rewards programs that employees value.
  • Support audits, reporting, policies, system improvements, and the secure management of sensitive employee information.
  • Coordinate the work of part-time support staff and collaborate closely with HR, Finance, organizational leaders, and external partners.

They should be comfortable working with compensation data, payroll deadlines, HR systems, and confidential employee information while clearly explaining complex pay and benefit matters to employees and leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least three years experience in compensation, payroll, benefits, total rewards, or a closely related HR function.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Substantial hands-on experience with compensation analysis and payroll administration.
  • Adhere to the PCC's Code of Religious Conduct and be a member in good standing.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Professional certification such as CPP, CCP, SHRM-CP, or PHR-and experience with UKG or a comparable HRIS/payroll system-is preferred.


Salary and Potential Manager-Level Consideration

The anticipated salary range for the Total Rewards Administrator is $75,000 to $88,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Highly qualified candidates may also be considered for appointment at the Total Rewards Manager level, with an anticipated salary range of $97,100 to $116,200 annually. Manager-level consideration requires at least five years of progressively responsible related experience, including at least two years managing a team or functional area, along with demonstrated ability to lead total rewards programs, make independent operational decisions, and provide strategic compensation and payroll direction.
