Crouse's Addiction Treatment Services team provides a comprehensive system of assessment and treatment services for individuals with substance use disorders. The Addiction Treatment team is hiring an Addiction Treatment Supervisor.

Pay Range: $85,000.00 - $98,000.00 / annual.

Available Schedule(s): Full Time: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, and one 9:30am-6:00pm shift.

Addiction Treatment Supervisor Position Responsibilities:
  • Attends and actively participates in hospital or medical performance improvement councils and committees as requested.
  • Communicates with staff and updates them regarding policy changes in specialized areas.
  • Develops and utilizes department policy statements, scope of service, quality indicators and updates; revises as necessary.
  • Performs staff management functions related to employee selection/hiring, on-boarding/orientation, coaching/development, staffing, work assignments, performance management and goal alignment as guided by hospital policy and procedures and collective bargaining unit agreement (when applicable).
  • Conducts regular staff meetings to disseminate hospital and/or department/division information and allows for discussion of staff concerns needing clarification or resolution.
  • Monitors all patient related activity, makes decisions as appropriate.
  • Provides administrative and clinical supervision and direction to all staff in department.
  • Oversees assignment of new patients to appropriate staff.
  • Provides orientation to new staff; identifies needs for continuing education; promotes participation in workshops and seminars; provides education directly as appropriate.
  • Oversees clinical record keeping, development of treatment plans and monitors for appropriateness of continued treatment.
  • Evaluates staff performance and productivity by assessing strengths and weaknesses and establishing with them goals for improvement.
  • Develops and maintains internal and external liaison with other agencies and departments.
  • Attends in-service training in addition to any required program specific training.
  • Develops and updates policies and procedures; maintains compliance with regulatory agencies, and other required reports; oversees gathering of statistical data.
  • Participates in Performance Improvement Council.
  • Sets and maintains standards for professional conduct; promotes and utilizes good interpersonal skills and adheres to Canon of Ethics for Addiction Treatment Professionals.
  • Consistently demonstrates ability to supervise and direct Department activities within established policies.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned by department leadership.

Addiction Treatment Supervisor Position Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in a related field required.
  • LMHC, LMHC-D, LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R licensure required.
  • Completion of OASAS Clinical Supervision Foundations Training required.
  • 3 years of Addiction Treatment experience demonstrating progressive responsibilities required.
  • 1 year of Supervisory experience required.
