Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider

The successful candidate:

***Position comes with a $10,000.00 sign-on bonus! Position comes with an 18% night shift differential! Will hire a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Acute Care and/or ICU experience highly preferred!***

***Overnight shift 7PM-7AM; 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 days on, 14 days off ***

The Acute Care APP provides advanced clinical care to patients across all levels of acuity, including those requiring intensive care, within an acuity adaptable unit. This role is integral to the multidisciplinary team and supports the delivery of timely, evidence-based care. The APP performs comprehensive assessments, formulates differential diagnoses, initiates treatment plans, and executes critical care procedures in collaboration with attending physicians and nursing staff. This role manages patients across the continuum of care, including medical-surgical, step-down, and ICU-level acuity.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Minimum 1 years experience.

Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Training Program OR
  • Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN), Nurse Practitioner (NP)


Licensure:
  • Licensed/certified and eligible to practice as Physician Assistant in the State of Arizona OR
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Arizona
  • For Nurse Practitioner: Certification as ACNP or AGACNP


Certification: American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) & ACLS
