About the roleWorks with risk owners and senior management to identify, assess, and report all significant risks across the enterprise, including the Property/Casualty companies, Life/Health companies, and Bank. Develops basic to very complex actuarial models leading to the recommendation of extensive and impactful strategies for managing the organization's risks. Creates and utilizes actuarial models and knowledge to consult and influence management towards courses of action that have impact on risk management, product/pricing, profitability, and markets. Is typically actively working towards or has attained actuarial designations through the Casualty Actuarial Society or Society of Actuaries.
How does this role make an impact?- Builds actuarial assumptions and models using a variety of tools, including actuarial modeling software, data visualization applications, programming languages and Microsoft Office applications.
- Works with risk owners and senior management to identify, assess, and report all significant risks across the enterprise.
- Prepares and presents reports to Executive Management and business partners, including results of actuarial models, risk assessments, and risk metrics.
- Pursues a Casualty Actuarial Society or Society of Actuaries designation at least through Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS), Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), or Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) level. Maintains appropriate continuing education credit to maintain actuarial credentials.

Base Pay Range:
$91,600-$125,950
The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
Incentive Pay:
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
