Job Description:

We're looking for an Actuarial Analyst to join Penn Mutual! In this role you will gain hands-on experience across multiple actuarial disciplines while progressing toward your FSA designation. This role offers a dynamic blend of analytical work, collaboration across teams, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform actuarial calculations and analyses supporting product development, financial management, reserving, experience studies, risk management, and other business initiatives.
  • Analyze data, assumptions, and results, investigating and resolving issues as appropriate.
  • Support actuarial research, audits, financial reporting, and regulatory or rating agency requests.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for management and other internal or external stakeholders.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements, including the use of emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools, to improve actuarial efficiency.
  • Partner with departments such as Accounting and Operations to support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Adhere to company policies, actuarial standards, and the company's framework of internal controls.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree major/concentration in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related discipline Required

Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
