StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Senior in Patuxent River MD. The Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Senior will be responsible for but no limited to the following requirements.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Supports and drafts program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives.
  • Assists with program digital reporting tools such as Defense Acquisition Visibility Environment (DAVE), Qlik Sense Enterprise, RDA Information System (RDAIS), and the Procurement Management Tool (PMT).
  • Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as:
    • Acquisition Plans (AP)
    • Acquisition Strategies (AS)
    • Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs)
    • Procurement Initiation Document (PID)
    • Statement of Work (SOW)
    • Funding Documents
    • Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
  • Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
  • Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares, and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.

Experience Requirements:
  • Senior - over 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description, with at least 5 of those years successfully managing technology development with Electronic Warfare (EW) programs.

Desired Experience:
  • At least five (5) years of experience in the NAVAIR program management, technical, and business analysis discipline, related to acquisition and life cycle management.
  • 5 years successfully managing technology development Electronic Warfare (EW) programs.

Education Requirements:
  • MA/MS degree
  • Allowable Substitution for MA/MS Degree:
    • Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree. OR:
    • Associate's Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree. OR:
    • Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.

Preferred Skills & Certifications
  • Familiar with acquisition and procurement process
  • Drafting acquisition documentation for contract actions
  • Experience working with higher classification programs

The estimated base salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $150,000.00. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates level of knowledge, education, experience and skill sets.
