OverviewAcquisition Specialist, Journeyman (2026-25702)
Bowhead is excited to announce our return to PMA‑275, supporting the V‑22 Osprey through the newly awarded Program/Project Management Technical Support Services contract. We are rapidly expanding our team to help drive mission readiness, modernization, and disciplined program execution for one of naval aviation’s most versatile platforms. Incumbent PMA‑275 personnel are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as APs, ASR, PID, SOW, funding documents, CDRLs, and APBA.
- Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
- Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s (B.A. or B.S.) degree. Allowable Substitutions: Associate’s Degree plus two (2) additional years of relevant experience, orFour (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must also have three (3) to eight (8) years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
- Must be proficient in the Acquisition Management System (AMS).
- Must have experience with NAVAIR and NAVAIR Program Management Teams (PMTs).
- Must have experience with the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) tool.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
