Are you a highly motivated leader eager to continue your career in program management? The Advanced Compact EW Solutions organization in Countermeasures and Electromagnetic Attack (CEMA) business area is seeking a motivated Program Manager II to join our team to support an exciting, complex, and dynamic program. This role is ideal for a person with program execution experience who thrives in a fast paced environment and is ready to develop robust program management and leadership skills. In CEMA we provide next generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to ensure unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability. Responsibilities: Provide proactive project management for assigned program activities, ensuring program commitments are met, including achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives. Proactively identify and mitigate risks. Develop program/project plans specifying goals, staffing needs, schedule milestones, risks and contingency plans. Assist with managing customer and supplier relationships to maintain a win-win of program execution and future business and maintain a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction. Measure and regularly report out on program results. Lead through inspiration and encouragement and foster a culture of innovative problem solving, performance excellence, and continuous improvement on the program team to deliver affordable, effective, and dependable outcomes. Be results-oriented, have a disciplined process management skillset, and show strong technical acumen driving cross-organizational issues and projects to resolution. Demonstrate a leading role in promoting adherence to the company's ethical standards and business practices; ensure compliance with the BAE Systems Operational Assurance Framework and all other policies and requirements; provide for good stewardship of the assets of the business. This program has a need for consistent in person collaboration and many job requirements must be done on site because of the nature of this particular role. Therefore full time on-site work is preferred although occasional hybrid work is possible. This means the majority of work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility (NCA) Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Required Education, Experience, & Skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment that requires a high degree of initiative, adaptability, and closure orientation. Demonstrated professionalism and excellent written and interpersonal communication skills to interface and negotiate with and present to a variety of stakeholders including coworkers, leadership, customers, and suppliers. Experience integrating scope, schedule, and budget for the successful execution of program objectives. Ability to develop and execute a program schedule and track status against that schedule. Proven track record working with financial analysts to achieve all financial objectives for the program using Earned Value Management techniques Strong ability to foster collaboration and lead teams, with excellent interpersonal skills. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline and a minimum of 10 years of experience in program management and/or with functional activities related to the program lifecycle, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated success in a program management role Experience being Cost Account Manager (CAM) Skilled at creating, executing, and monitoring projects using Microsoft Project or similar applications Defense industry experience Experience with operations, hardware design, development, and test activities Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
