Job Title: Accuracy Control Coordinator

Location: Multiple LA & MS locations available

Position Overview:

The Accuracy Control Coordinator is responsible for leading the organization's accuracy control program across facilities and ensuring product compliance with regulatory and Company standards. This position provides leadership to the Accuracy Control team, partners closely with operations leadership, and develops strategies that reduce risk and improve compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop Accuracy Control professionals.
  • Interpret, communicate, and plan to accuracy standards in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Instruct and assign evaluations conducted by the Accuracy Control inspectors.
  • Measure and analyze data gathered through accuracy control inspections to ensure compliance with established design criteria.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously enhance accuracy control program specific plans, standards, and procedures for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to proactively conduct assessments, monitor results, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor dimensional accuracy, alignments, and assembly precision across production lines.
  • Direct and conduct inspections and workplace observations to strengthen compliance and improve overall performance.
  • Support Company initiatives and lead improvement efforts.

Qualifications:
  • 15 years of accuracy control experience in manufacturing, shipbuilding, heavy industrial, construction, or related environments required.
  • Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering, welding processes, and practices.
  • Experience conducting accuracy control inspections and utilization of specialized survey equipment such as laser scanning/tracking and Total Station.
  • Proficient with blueprint interpretation, mathematical skills, and effective use of MS Office.
  • Previous experience leading and developing company-wide accuracy control programs across multiple locations required.
