Job Description:Are you an accounting leader eager for the chance to collaborate across the business landscape and leave your imprint?Miller Electric, an ITW company, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to lead our receivables function and oversee the company's credit and collections processes. As the AR Manager, your responsibilities include managing invoicing, cash application, collections and customer account reconciliation. In addition, you're a catalyst for driving efficiency to optimize cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.

What you will do and impact:Accounting Management, Analysis and Reporting:- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable department
- Oversee billing, invoicing, cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations
- Monitor aging reports and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances
- Develop and implement AR policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve billing disputes
- Prepare AR reporting and KPI analysis for leadership
- Maintain accurate customer account records and documentation
- Lead, mentor, and develop AR staff to ensure high performance and accountability
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
Team Leadership and Development:- Assist employees in understanding how decisions impact the financials, identify and communicate key business drivers, and provide training to enhance overall financial awareness.
- Lead and develop the accounts receivable team by providing guidance, training, and feedback.
- Partner with the Division Controller in planning, assigning, and directing work within the department.
Cross Functional Collaboration:- Apply 80/20 thinking to reduce complexity and simplify processes.
- Participate in cross-functional projects within and outside the Division.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of accounts receivable or accounting experience
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of AR processes, collections, and cash management
- ERP and Financial Reporting software experience required, Microsoft D365 expertise is beneficial
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
