great company in the Kansas City area that is seeking an experienced
Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previously held an AP Manager role and has experience working within a large corporate environment. The position will focus on overseeing key accounts payable functions, partnering with offshore teams, and supporting international accounts.
Although this role does not have direct reports, it will provide leadership and oversight across critical AP processes and team activities. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, comfortable collaborating with global teams, and experienced in driving efficiency and process improvements.
The company offers a
hybrid work schedule along with a competitive compensation package, including a
target salary of $85,000-$95,000 plus a 15% bonus. Additional benefits include

Accounts Payable Manager to join a growing finance operations team. This role will oversee critical accounts payable functions, support process improvement initiatives, and serve as a key resource for complex financial operations. Responsibilities- Lead and oversee accounts payable operations, including support for domestic and international vendor payment activities.
- Manage core AP processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for accounts payable processes, supporting audits, escalations, and special projects.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and workflow efficiencies.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies.
- Support and mentor team members by sharing knowledge, best practices, and process expertise.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Technology, and other business stakeholders to drive solutions and achieve organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications- Strong background in accounts payable, including vendor management, invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and financial controls.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, analysis, and data management.
- Experience utilizing data to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Proven ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across various business functions.
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives within finance or shared services environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
