DescriptionRise Wellness, a subsidiary of USANA Health Sciences Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee critical accounting operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position leads accounting processes, strengthens internal controls, and drives continuous improvement.
- Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Ensure account reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Supervise and support employees by performing periodic reviews and supporting their professional development
- Coordinate Accounting and non-accounting personnel to ensure the accurate and timely closing of fiscal periods
- Continuously work to identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the development of best practices within the department
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or other business-related degree required
- CPA certification preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience, managing accounting operations, preferably in a public company
- Experience with large ERP platforms, Oracle ERP preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and strong communication skills
- Educated use of GAAP in analyzing and recording financial information
- Insight, expertise and attention to detail in assigned function
- Ability to work under pressure, meet aggressive deadlines and make sound business decisions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
*Position is hybrid/in-office located in Salt Lake City.
