Accounting ManagerFull-Time | Finance | Location - Olathe, KS
We are seeking an accounting manager to lead our accounting function and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting through the strategic oversight of core accounting activities. This role is a cornerstone of our Finance department, responsible for managing the monthly close process, ensuring balance sheet integrity, and driving the continuous improvement of global internal controls and accounting standards.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESYou'll deliver short and long term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:
- Manage and oversee the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Ensure balance sheet accounts are accurate, complete, and properly documented
- Assist with audit requests and serve as a primary contact for assigned audit areas
- Apply U.S. GAAP (and IFRS, if applicable) to routine and non-routine transactions
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in accounting processes
- Assist with preparation and review of internal and external financial reporting packages
- Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and process standardization initiatives
- Partner with FP&A, AP, AR, and operational teams to resolve accounting issues
- Compile and submit monthly supplemental reports for financial statements.

- CPA Required
- Public accounting experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in a large or multinational organizations preferred
- Experience with ERP or financial systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, or Oracle) a plus.
- Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational, time management, and follow-up capabilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
