Qualifications

• 5-7 years of accounting experience, particularly in a manufacturing setting
• Demonstrated ownership of month-end close and general ledger processes
• Familiarity with inventory accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS), and overhead calculations
• Prior experience leading or mentoring accounting staff
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closed processes
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, and cash management
• Prepare financial statements and comprehensive management reporting packages
• Support external audits, lender reporting, and ensure strong internal controls
• Analyze inventory levels, COGS, overhead costs, and other operational finance metrics
• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
• Drive improvements in accounting processes, controls, and reporting accuracy
• Lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals
