DescriptionThe Accounting Manager will independently perform a variety of accounting assignments. This position requires the individual to be fully competent in all conventional phases of accounting and be capable of planning and conducting tasks requiring independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard accounting techniques, procedures, and criteria. Works well with others and can assist in other accounting roles.
The work for this role will be performed in one of Austin's subsidiary offices known as Gala & Associates Inc.
Requirements- Requires a 4-year degree in accounting and a minimum of 5 years' related experience
- Must have strong attention to detail, can spot errors and can suggest ways to improve efficiency and accuracy
- A Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel will be necessary to perform the functions of this position
- Must possess a strong knowledge of accounting information systems and elevated level of computer skills
Preferred Qualifications and Experience- Individuals with a CPA certification will be given preference
