Full Job Description
The Accounting Manager is a key individual contributor responsible for executing and supporting core accounting operations across a multi-entity environment, including the month-end close process, financial reporting, and the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures. This role also supports the integration and onboarding of acquisitions, partnering cross-functionally to ensure seamless alignment of financial processes and systems. Through close collaboration with business partners, strong analytical capabilities, and a focus on continuous improvement, this position enhances the quality and efficiency of accounting operations and delivers reliable financial insights to support informed decision-making and scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the monthly close process across a multi-entity structure, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements, while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of key financial data
  • Research technical accounting matters, document conclusions, and develop, update, and maintain accounting policies and procedures, including implementing changes to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Support the onboarding of acquisitions, including purchase accounting, financial statement mapping, ERP integration, and accounting for working capital true-ups and contingent consideration arrangements
  • Execute and support financial analysis, reporting, and special projects, providing insights to management while collaborating across departments to improve processes, enhance reporting quality, and drive operational efficiencies
  • Support the external audit and annual reporting processes, including preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation, and play an integral role during interim and year-end audits, as well as drafting the annual report and financial statement footnotes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and executive leadership, to support business initiatives and financial transparency.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of financial reporting and operational support.
  • Proactively identify and resolve accounting issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Develop, train, and ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support scalable growth


Education / Work Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
  • CPA certification or active CPA candidacy strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3-10 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience in with assurance at a public accounting firm required
  • Proven experience working with multi-location or multi-entity accounting operations.
  • Exposure to acquisitions, purchase accounting and system integrations highly desirable

Skills / Other Requirements

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to perform and explain variance analysis across financial statements.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., D 365 preferred) and advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
