We're hiring a full-time Accounting Manager for our Finance & Accounting Division. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing key functions that contribute to our mission. In this role, you will: • Lead the accounting operations behind our loan, investment, and real estate portfolios, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong regulatory compliance. • Oversee banking and cash management activities, maintaining the integrity and security of financial transactions. • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and support organizational growth. • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to deliver reliable financial information and support key business decisions. • Develop, coach, and inspire a talented accounting team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on continuous improvement. To support onboarding and training, the initial weeks of employment will be conducted in-office. Following this period, remote work may be available on an intermittent basis, as determined by the manager. Your experience, skills, and education should include: • Strong accounting knowledge and experience, including financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. • Knowledge of Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) principles and accounting best practices. • Demonstrated success leading and developing teams through coaching, performance management, and employee development. • Experience leveraging financial and accounting systems to support efficient and accurate operations. • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate in English. • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and at least three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
