Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration/Management required.
• Managerial experience preferred for leadership capacity.
• Familiarity with government contracting is essential; time and materials (T&M) contract experience is an advantage.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint is necessary for technical tasks.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
• Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly financial close process to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
• Review and compile regular monthly and reversing journal entries.
• Post transactions for costs, revenue, and cash as needed.
• Identify and correct discrepancies in balance sheets and income statements.
• Oversee monthly General Ledger account reconciliations, concentrating on cash accounts.
• Manage cash balances to ensure sufficient funds for disbursements.
• Collaborate with Payroll for biweekly payroll disbursement execution.
• Engage with Accounts Payable to ensure timely cash disbursements.
• Oversee tax filing management responsibilities.
• Lead the preparation for annual financial audits and financial statement completion.
• Maintain and improve existing procedures and policies, while developing new ones.
• Administer the Costpoint GL and Deltek T&E alongside bank account management.
• Support the annual budgeting cycle activities.
• Serve as the point of contact for finance-related queries regarding Deltek Costpoint.
