Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager, Americas is directly responsible for leading the financial accounting activities for the United States and supervise Mexico and Brazil financial accounting by the in-country accounting team. This role ensures timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and supports the annual external audit process. The manager partners with shared services, finance, tax, FP&A, and business leaders to support process improvement for the Americas accounting activities.

Your Responsibilities :
  • Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close for the United States legal entity
  • Supervise the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close for the Mexico and Brazil legal entities with the in-country accounting team
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and the Company's accounting policies
  • Support the annual external audit process across multiple jurisdictions
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the business finance team to support its variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization across accounting functions
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing coaching and performance development
  • Coordinate with shared service centers and outsourced accounting providers where applicable


You bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4-6+ years of corporate accounting experience
  • Solid working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience supporting external audits with Big Four accounting firms
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills
