Full Job Description
What We Need

Corpay is seeking to recruit an Accounting Manager for our Global Shared Services and is located in the Brentwood, TN area. As a key member of the finance and accounting team, the successful candidate will lead responsibilities of the company's Global Shared Services Accounting Department and manage close responsibilities with our global subsidiaries as well as work on key initiatives relating to critical processes. The ideal candidate should be motivated, a self-starter, detailed-oriented, strong in accounting concepts, have a willingness to learn and be a team player. You will report directly to VP Assistant Corporate Controller and regularly collaborate with teams and department(s)].

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Manage month-end close activities, including timely and accurate preparation of journal entries, inter-company elimination process, expense accruals, prepaid amortization, lease accounting, fixed assets and account reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close in accordance with company policies and controls
  • Review monthly and quarterly reporting analysis and other management reporting as assigned
  • Mentor and supervise team members and certain functions managed by the Controller's Department
  • Continually evaluate and optimize month-end close processes to deliver process automation and improved accuracy
  • Develop/enhance, implement and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures that will improve the overall operation and reduce risks of the business.
  • Work with internal and external auditors to ensure a clean and timely year end audit
  • Partner with and liaison with other departments on resolving month-end close questions and while working on strategic initiatives
  • Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned


Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA, CMA, CHA or CPA candidate preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in accounting roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and self-motivated
