Full Job Description
What the position is: The Director of Treasury oversees CommuteAir's cash management, customer billing, vendor payments, short-term investments, corporate card programs, and insurance placements. This role leads the treasury team and works closely with the CFO, United Airlines, banking partners, insurers, and internal finance teams to support cash forecasting, financial reporting, and day-to-day treasury operations.

Essential Functions:
  • Manage external relationships with United Express Commercial Team, the company's banks, the company's broker, and insurers, and outside counsel
  • Supervise staff currently composed of a Treasury Analyst and Paralegal
  • Manage billing process for customer United Airlines, including pass-through expenses incurred by the company
  • Manage vendor payment transactions through ACH, wire, check
  • Manage miscellaneous billings (3rd party damage claims, insurance claims)
  • Along with CFO, manage relationship with the company's banking partner
  • Administer the CashPro treasury management software
  • Administer the company's corporate Purchase and T&E card program
  • Coordinate with the financial planning and analysis team weekly to on the revenue and cash receipts forecasts
  • Working with the company's cash forecast, manage short-term investments such as money market and CD's
  • Manage various government licenses and registrations
  • Coordinate with CFO and United on annual hull & liability insurance placement
  • Manage other annual insurance placements (auto, property, D&O, etc)
  • Responsible for revenue, accounts receivables explanations during month-end close and audit
  • Regular attendance is essential for all positions at CommuteAir
  • Other duties as assigned


General requirements & qualifications:
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities regularly.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
  • 5+ years of managing commercial relationships; experience in treasury, accounting, or finance, with some experience leading or mentoring others
  • Familiarity with cash management, payment processing (ACH, wire, check), and cash forecasting
  • Exposure to commercial insurance, banking relationships, or vendor/customer billing preferred
  • Comfortable learning and using treasury or banking software (CashPro experience a plus) and managing corporate card programs
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with leadership, external partners, and internal teams
  • Airline or aviation industry experience a plus, but not required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
