The Accountant is responsible for critical accounting workstreams (such as cash, accruals), preparing journal entries, owning reconciliations and evolving in a constant context of process improvement.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Consolidations and Reporting and is part of the Accounting department located in Sunnyvale and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:- Manage Cash activities including: Daily Cash Reconciliation tracking unposted/cleared items and working through posting issues real time with AR, AP & Payroll teams, attending to Positive pay, Stop Pays, Ach returns & outgoing wires & monthly bank reconciliations.
- Preparation of monthly review of specific financial statement items trends to ensure understanding and define corrective actions during closing, and ensure reconciling items are timely course corrected through follow up.
- Responsible for accurate monthly reporting and posting of monthly Current Account InterOpco and miscellaneous charges.
- Scheduling and publishing of monthly close activities calendar, including working through calendar issues with FP&A team.
- Responsible for ensuring proper load of monthly published FX rates into SAP and assist SR. Manager with monthly FX analysis for CFO meeting.
The essential requirements of the job include:- BS in Accounting or equivalent with 2+ years of related work experience OR Master's degree in field with 0-2 years of related work experience.
- 2+ Accounting Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:- SAP FI modules
- Advanced Excel and word skills (i.e. pivot tables etc...)

The annual salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $83,000- $130,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
