The Account Manager for eBay Live partners with sellers after they launch on the platform, serving as a trusted advisor focused on performance, growth, and long-term success. This role manages strategic, enterprise-level seller relationships within assigned categories and works closely with cross-functional teams to improve seller outcomes, optimize programming, and support GMV growth.
What you will accomplish:- Grow seller performance on eBay Live by managing strategic seller relationships, driving improvements in GMV, audience growth, programming quality, and key seller KPIs.
- Partner with enterprise sellers to develop and conduct customized business plans that support platform adoption, early momentum, and long-term category leadership.
- Analyze seller performance data to identify growth opportunities, surface risks, and guide sellers with actionable, data-backed recommendations.
- Improve live selling outcomes by advising sellers on platform best practices, programming optimization, scheduling, and selling strategies.
- Lead regular business reviews and strategic consultations with top sellers, ensuring alignment with seller goals and eBay Live's growth priorities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve complex seller issues, navigate policy or platform changes, and ensure compliance.
- Develop and deliver seller education, best-practice sharing, and strategic initiatives, measuring impact and continuously improving effectiveness.
What you will bring:- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce, account management, or a related seller-facing role.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise-level clients through consultative partnership.
- Strong analytical abilities alongside critical thinking, using a data-driven approach to planning, performance tracking, and decision-making, including comfort with P&L concepts.
- Clear, confident communication skills, including executive-level written and verbal storytelling supported by data.
- Experience leading projects independently, balancing attention to detail with efficiency in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience influencing cross-functional partners and leading initiatives without direct authority.
- Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace and comfort working with data, analytics, and performance reporting.
Additional DetailsThe base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$71,600 - $123,400
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
