Overview

This position is responsible for supporting global objectives of the Sales and Marketing business, to lead customer development and negotiations, as needed. To support business growth through continuous updating of trade data, which will provide key market insights that will drive management decisions. To build strong relationships with clients, agents, distributors, and internal resources to support business growth.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Education, Certifications and ExperienceB.S. degree with a major in animal nutrition, animal science, or a related field is desired.  Minimum of 5 years of proven B2B sales experience in animal nutrition, feed additives, or technical sales or support (Swine, Poultry, Dairy). Strong knowledge of ruminant nutrition (dairy/beef preferred). Experience working with nutritionists and feed mills - preferred



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills  Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting client requirements. Strong analytical and organizational skills.  Understands and utilizes CRM. Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnights. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills Experience in public speaking, creating and delivering presentations in a professional manner. Ability to problem-solve and work cross-functionally to effectively service our customers. Knowledge of lysine or amino acid products  preferred Familiarity with feed formulation and farm economics - preferred

Responsibilities

 Develop and execute agent-level sales strategies for AjiPro-L and animal feed amino acids across North America and other global markets, including Brazil and China. Identify customer needs and growth opportunities by qualifying and quantifying target accounts by product category. Drive sales growth for AjiPro-L and animal feed amino acids through direct customer engagement and distributor management. Establish and achieve budget for both sales volume plans, implementing countermeasures when gaps occur. Help create and prepare budget by establishing and implementing short- and long-term plans together with teams in the US and Japan. Provide verbal and written communications to Sales Agents and Customers as necessary to maintain rapport and drive timely communications for pricing actions.  Understand, analyze, and manage information sources to support sales strategies, pricing decisions, and product marketing. The sources include, but are not limited to, customers, Agents, import/export data, commodity markets, and nutritional staff.  Building appropriate relationships with customers, agents, and distributors to maintain/improve long-term business development.  Engages with the Technical Department to ensure alignment of nutritional changes that may impact sales dynamics together with market trends that will support sales growth, to link technical applications to commercial strategies that drive company initiatives.  Understand the NA livestock business  Understand customer profitability and implement necessary strategies to improve it  Ensure customer satisfaction by understanding customer service and quality standards, resolving problems, and making periodic customer visits to identify trends and customer needs.  Provide timely and critical information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.  Understand the drivers of supply/demand, competitors' products, market share, strengths /weaknesses, and activities that could deliver critical information to anticipate new opportunities to drive sales growth and maximize profit.  Work to update, complete, and analyze weekly and monthly reports, such as import/export data, supply/demand Forecast analysis, weekly and monthly reports.  Work with NA Tech Dept. to develop new product ideas, strategies, and marketing materials  Assist with NA A/R and collections, working through Agents  Provide support to Business Unit Director as required  Other duties as assigned.



Salary Range155,00.00 to 160,000.00 + bonus / commission
