What you'll do

As an Account Executive, Link and Financial Connections, you will use your sales and product expertise to help drive growth of Link's bank account network across a range of customers. You will collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and other GTM teams to develop deep product and industry knowledge and drive complex deals. You will be instrumental in leading in depth product discussions with existing and prospective customers - and building and executing against our go to market strategy.

You are an adept sales professional, capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organization. You are used to building value in competitive situations and enjoy working on products that require deep product understanding, combined with technical knowledge. You're as comfortable working with external clients as with internal stakeholders. You're excited to become an expert and to share your knowledge. You are an organized self-starter and an exceptional communicator with strong analytical abilities and a proven history of top performance and improving the teams you join.
Responsibilities
  • Accountable for driving core metrics (i.e. revenue) and new client acquisition (i.e. logos) for a wide range of customers with a focus on bank payments and open banking
  • Act as a strategic GTM leader for this specialized area, such as authoring our commercial strategy and go-to-market playbook
  • Deeply understand Link, Financial Connections, and competitors, serving as both an internal and customer-facing expert on our product and the market
  • Engage with Product and Engineering teams to devise and sell novel solutions, synthesize and relay customer feedback to inform Stripe's product roadmap
  • Autonomously manage the bank payments specialist motion for Stripe's largest and most complex users and net-new enterprises
  • Build and win a robust, qualified pipeline in line with our strategic priorities
  • Develop relationships with executive stakeholders and lead discussion with existing and prospective customers
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization (engineering, product, marketing, sales, and technical services stakeholders) to help shape Stripe's products and solutions to meet customer needs

Requirements
    • 10+ years of customer facing experience at a leading technology or payments company with 4+ years of experience specifically selling open banking or bank payments solutions to enterprise customers
    • A track record of top performance
    • Experience building trusted relationships with senior business leaders (c-suite) at large enterprise customers
    • Ability to navigate product fit gray areas and understand nuances of what is possible versus what is off the shelf
    • Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with cross-functional business partners, especially with Product and Engineering
    • Self-starter capable of operating independently to drive meaningful business results
    • Enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple stakeholders
    • Proven experience leading complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
