Position Summary

The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences is looking for a General Pathologist to join the clinical practice of UBMD Pathology.

The ideal candidates should be comfortable in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of cases in surgical pathology.

Candidates will be required to perform all the duties of an attending pathologist which include:
  • General and subspecialty sign out
  • Autopsy pathology
  • Frozen section performance
  • Select areas of Laboratory Medicine
  • Pathologists additionally attend and actively participate in:
  • Multidisciplinary tumor boards
  • Residency teaching and oversight
  • Medical and Dental undergraduate teaching


Minimum Qualifications
  • MD, DO or equivalent
  • Nephropathology fellowship training
  • AP/CP Board eligibility or certification
