Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ABAP Developer to design, develop, and support complex custom applications within an SAP S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, RAP Model, AMDP, and S/4HANA development. This role requires a highly independent developer capable of delivering enterprise-grade solutions from high-level functional design documents.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP applications within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Develop complex backend solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
• Build and enhance Core Data Services (CDS) Views, OData services, and RAP-based applications.
• Develop custom enhancements using RFC, BAPI, BADI, and SAP enhancement frameworks.
• Develop and optimize ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to analyze requirements and design scalable solutions.
• Integrate new functionality with existing custom applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects identified during testing and production support.
• Follow SAP development standards, coding best practices, and change management processes.
• Gain a thorough understanding of application architecture and database design.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.

Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA development.
• Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
• Experience developing Core Data Services (CDS) Views.
• Experience with OData services and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Strong experience with RFC, BAPI, BADI, and SAP enhancement frameworks.
• Experience developing ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
• Experience developing full lifecycle custom ABAP solutions.
• Ability to work independently from high-level functional design documents.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working on SAP UI5 projects and understanding UI5 architecture.
• Familiarity with modern S/4HANA ABAP syntax and development best practices.
• Experience working in enterprise SAP implementation or modernization projects.
