Private Label Development & Technical Direction
• Lead technical design development for the private label business, owning fit and spec development each season through development approval.

• Develop and maintain fit blocks, grading standards, and construction specs specific to private label categories.

Pattern Analysis & Team Oversight
• Review and give final sign-off on patterns from internal and overseas pattern engineers, resolving escalated fit and construction issues.
• Mentor technical designers and pattern engineers on pattern correction, grading, and fit evaluation.

Fit Management & Technical Documentation
• Lead fit sessions for private label and key categories during development, delivering fit and spec approvals through PLM.
• Oversee tech pack quality and consistency, and own the fit calendar from initial handoff through development sign-off; handoff to Production for bulk approval.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Vendor Communication
• Represent technical design in cross-functional leadership discussions on seasonal strategy and private label timelines.
• Lead vendor and factory communication, including cross-time-zone meetings, and drive process improvements to reduce development risk and delays.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, Apparel Development, or related field preferred.• 7-10+ years in apparel technical design, including experience leading or mentoring a team; private label experience strongly preferred.
• Expert-level, hands-on proficiency in Browzwear 3D, with experience applying it in a live production environment.
• Advanced knowledge of pattern making, grading, construction, and fit evaluation across woven, knit, and engineered knit categories.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Centric PLM (or comparable), and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; Gerber exposure a plus.
