Job DescriptionThis position manages the teams responsible for directing, developing, and implementing the education, training, and development of Ameritas sales associates. The incumbent will be a lead contributor in relation to collecting industry and customer intelligence for sales leadership. This person will help create a vision for recruiting and retaining our agency and advisor distribution, and execute towards achieving that vision.
This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home.
What you do:- Build and cultivate internal and external relationships to promote and grow the business.
- Collaborate with business leaders to build proactive educational agency support programs, resources, and campaigns.
- Build and execute agency training and communications strategies in partnership with distribution leaders.
- Lead and direct necessary resources for classroom training.
- Direct and influence associate and business resources to achieve business results.
- Build strategies around the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Be accountable for business plans while focusing on results and measurements which may include negotiating, contract signing, and other duties as an officer of the company.
- Act as an enterprise contributor by partnering with leaders throughout the organization on cross-division initiatives.
- Develop and manages the unit's budgets and expenses to annual plan targets.
- Actively participate in company-sponsored management and leadership development to prepare for changes in responsibilities in a changing environment.
What you bring:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 7-10 years of related insurance or financial services industry product distribution experience required.
- Field or salesforce education experience is desired.
- Sales experience desired.
- Practice management experience is desired.
- Leadership, management, or supervisory experience desired.
