Technical Project Manager to support the
United States Postal Service (USPS) Technology Applications Program Management (TAPM) Team. What You'll DoAs a Technical Project Manager, you'll bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution by managing project activities while supporting software development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Agile project planning, execution, and delivery for enterprise technology initiatives
- Coordinate project schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, and action items
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Track project progress, budgets, dependencies, and project health
- Partner with developers, engineers, business analysts, and USPS stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical work items
- Support software development activities including coding, debugging, testing, implementation, and deployment as needed
- Coordinate system integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect tracking, and production deployments
- Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, meeting summaries, and project documentation
- Maintain project backlogs, risk registers, issue logs, and technical documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve Agile processes and delivery efficiency
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule with exceptional quality
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications- Minimum 7 years of Project Management related experience
- Experience managing technical or software development projects
- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or iterative software delivery methodologies
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with project tracking, reporting, and documentation
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience supporting testing, implementation, or deployment activities
EducationBachelor's degree preferred in:
