Compensation

Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary

Summary:
Under the direction of the Supervising/Attending Physician, the Physician Assistant assists in any function relating to the diagnosis and treatment of surgical patients within the hospital.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:
Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.

Experience And Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English
• Experience and/or skills in area of practice.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills.

License/Certifications
• Current NYS Physician Assistant Licensure/Registration.
• Continuing Education Units: CME as required by NYS to maintain licensure.
• Certifications required for assigned area of practice:
• BLS
• Current NCCPA
• ACLS
