RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be available CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: Yes CLEARANCE TYPE: Top Secret TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time Description Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Test Conductor (Level 1).  This position will be located at our Aeronautics System Sector in one of the following locations: Palmdale, CA / Edwards AFB, CA. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Test & Evaluation organization. The shift assignments possible for this role could be any one of the following work schedules: - 9/80 (9 hr./day Monday – Thursday, 8hr./day on Friday with every other Friday off) - 4/10 1st shift Mon-Thurs (10 hr./day first shift) - 4/10 2nd shift Mon-Thurs (10 hr./day night shift) - 3/10 1st shift Fri-Sun (10 hr./day first shift. Work 30 hrs. and paid for 40 hrs.) - 3/10 2nd shift Fri-Sun (10 hr./day night shift. Work 30 hrs. and paid for 40 hrs.) The selected candidate will support test planning, coordination, execution, and data analysis activities in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. Other duties include: - Assist test focal in interfacing with internal and external organizations to define test and test data requirements. - Contribute to the development and review of detailed test plans, test schedules, and acceptance test procedures in collaboration with engineering disciplines, system test, and engineering management. - Coordinate test equipment and personnel to enable safe, efficient, and effective execution of tests. - Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, and systems used in test activities. - Support integration and acceptance testing, including real-time decision making related to safety, efficiency, and test effectiveness. - Interface with design and analysis teams to develop test approaches, conduct tests, and document and report results in the prescribed format. - Participate in post-test data evaluation, discrepancy identification, and resolution activities. - Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently to solve a variety of complex problems. Basic Qualifications for an Associate Test Conductor (T01) A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: - Must have an ACTIVE U.S. Government SECRET Clearance (in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) with the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government TOP SECRET Clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). - Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2026. - Be majoring in or having majored in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar STEM degree. - Must be able to support weekends, 2nd, 3rd shift, and off hours as dictated by program test activities. Preferred Qualifications - ACTIVE U.S. Government TOP SECRET CLEARANCE (in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) - Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher. - Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular) - Experience developing detailed test plans, schedules, and procedures, and creating, updating, and executing test documentation. - Hands-on background in system test and integration, including direct support to integration testing and testing of aerospace systems. - Experience calibrating, inspecting, and maintaining special test equipment. Pay Range - Associate Test Conductor: $69,400.00-$104,000.00 Primary Level Salary Range: $69,400.00 - $104,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
