DescriptionNorthrop Grumman is seeking Associate Embedded Software Engineer/Embedded Software Engineer - Manufacturing Test Engineering (IRCM) . This position will be located at our Mission Systems sector in Rolling Meadows, IL.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing Test Engineering (IRCM) team.

Basic Qualifications: A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
- Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited institution
- Be majoring in or having majored in Computer Science, Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or related STEM degree.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- Experience using C# / C / C++
- Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret Clearance
Basic Qualifications for an Embedded Software Engineer
- Be completing or has completed their Master's degree from an accredited institution
- Be majoring in or having majored in Computer Science, Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or related STEM degree.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Preferred Qualifications: - Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
- Experience in electronic hardware Manufacturing environment and/or electronic hardware software or firmware design environment preferred.
- Experience with use of lab test instruments such as (but not limited to) Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, Power Supplies, Power Meters.
- Experience developing automated test software
- Prior software troubleshooting experience of test equipment or prime hardware.
- Experience developing in Visual Studios
- Experience developing in LabView / TestStand
- Experience using GitHub.
- Active DoD Security Clearance.
Salary Range: Bachelor: $72,700 to $109,100
Masters: $87,600.00 to $131,400.00
