Position OverviewSandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking a
Program Security Representative I to provide multidisciplinary security support for one or more Department of Defense Special Access Programs in Springfield, Ohio.
The selected candidate will provide day-to-day security analysis and program support across Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and Special Access Program environments. This position requires experience applying federal and Department of Defense security requirements, assessing program vulnerabilities, supporting facility compliance activities, and safeguarding classified and sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure strict adherence to the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual, applicable supplements, DoD Overprint requirements, Director of Central Intelligence Directives, Intelligence Community Directives, and Special Access Program policies.
- Assist with developing and implementing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI, and collateral information supporting U.S. military operations.
- Provide daily multidisciplinary security support for classified programs, personnel, facilities, information, and operational activities.
- Continuously assess security procedures to identify deficiencies, vulnerabilities, and areas requiring improvement.
- Develop recommendations for revising and strengthening security policies, procedures, controls, and systems.
- Identify security vulnerabilities, threats, and risks associated with testing, training, and operational activities.
- Assist with developing, implementing, and conducting training for the Operations Security program.
- Provide security assistance and oversight to contractors, subordinate organizations, and supported facilities.
- Prepare and deliver security briefings to government personnel, military leadership, contractors, and senior civilian officials.
- Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-up inspections, and facility closeout activities.
- Monitor, report, and track corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews and inspections.
- Ensure program technical and management personnel receive timely notification of relevant security matters.
- Investigate the loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified or sensitive information.
- Conduct preliminary inquiries and support the preparation of damage assessments resulting from security incidents.
- Coordinate with SAP security personnel to incorporate lessons learned into security education, training, and awareness programs.
- Maintain accurate security documentation, reports, records, and compliance materials.
Required Qualifications- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Five to seven years of relevant security experience.
- Working knowledge of industrial security, personnel security, information security, physical security, Operations Security, and classified program protection requirements.
- Experience interpreting and applying federal, Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Special Access Program security policies.
- Experience conducting security assessments, compliance reviews, inspections, inquiries, or corrective-action tracking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to brief personnel at all organizational levels.
- Ability to identify security risks and recommend practical corrective actions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or four additional years of equivalent professional experience.
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program information.
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
Certification Equivalencies- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification may count toward three years of required experience.
- Special Program Security Certification may count toward five years of required experience.
- The maximum combined experience credit permitted for Security Professional Education Development certifications is five years.
Preferred Qualifications- Previous experience supporting Special Access Programs.
- Experience working in Collateral, SCI, or SAP environments.
- Familiarity with SAP facility compliance reviews, security incident inquiries, damage assessments, and program security education.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense or military organizations.
