MSRC is seeking a Principal Engineer to support Guidance/Navigation/Control (GNC) efforts for the development of missile systems to aid the Army (DEVCOM AvMC) with critical technology development.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide support in the development and enhancement of Autopilot, Guidance and Navigation algorithms.
- Provide support in 6-DOF Simulation development including ability to integrate various models and inputs.
- Provide support in the performance verification of 6-DOF simulations such as analyzing Monte-Carlo data sets and Frequency Response to identify performance metrics.
- Understand and design Trade Studies to assess performance metrics.
- Provide support to assess Flight Test data.
- Must have experience with missile system simulations and data analysis.
- Work independently as well as part of a team.
- Able to present findings to government customers.
Education:- M.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering or relevant engineering field.
Job Qualifications:- Mid-level candidates with 10 years or more years of related experience are preferred.
- Experience with C/C++, Python, Matlab and Linux.
- Experience with physics-based modelling of missile systems is required.
- Some understanding of Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) is desired.

- Candidate must currently possess and be able to maintain an active security clearance.
