About the Role

We are looking for a licensed Arizona Attorney to join our team and provide high-quality legal support to a U.S.-based law firm. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented legal professional who can independently manage legal matters, communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, and maintain a high standard of accuracy and professionalism in a fully remote environment.

This position is ideal for an attorney who is comfortable working with U.S. legal procedures, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, managing deadlines, and taking ownership of assigned cases.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned legal matters from intake through resolution, depending on the firm's practice area and needs.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and other relevant legal authorities.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents, pleadings, motions, correspondence, agreements, and other filings.
  • Prepare cases and supporting documentation for hearings, negotiations, litigation, or other legal proceedings.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, government agencies, and other relevant parties.
  • Review case files and identify relevant facts, legal issues, risks, and next steps.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case records and documentation.
  • Monitor case deadlines, court dates, filing requirements, and other critical milestones.
  • Provide clients with clear explanations regarding their legal matters and available options.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and other members of the legal team.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable Arizona and U.S. laws, court rules, ethical requirements, and firm procedures.
  • Manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Use legal technology and case management systems to document, track, and manage work efficiently.

Requirements
  • Active license to practice law in the State of Arizona.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree from an accredited law school.
  • Demonstrated experience practicing law in the United States.
  • Strong understanding of Arizona laws, court procedures, and applicable legal rules.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate legal work.
  • Ability to independently manage cases, deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Strong client-service and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Proficiency with standard legal technology, document management systems, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working for a U.S. law firm.
  • Experience in a client-facing legal role.
  • Experience with legal case management software such as Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther, or similar platforms.
  • Litigation, hearings, negotiations, or courtroom experience.
  • Experience managing a significant caseload with limited supervision.
  • Strong familiarity with Arizona courts and legal procedures.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
