About the position:

The Commercial Director –New Energy Solutions will be part of a team driving the success of TGS's subsurface solutions for offshore Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and offshore wind farm (OWF) development. The Commercial Director will be responsible for recognizing business opportunities and developing complex proposals, explore new avenues of activity and seek opportunities that the company can exploit to develop and grow in the CCS and offshore wind market.Duties and Responsibilities

Manage interfaces between New Energy Solutions and Acquisition, operations and all supporting functions in the timeliness, high-quality and well positioned bids to help increase bid win rates to increase backlog, sales revenues and margins.
Collaborate closely with the NES CCS and OWF Business Development and Sales teams.
Responsible for developing proposals and tender responses.
Manage bid development schedules, workload and bid delivery dates to ensure effectiveness.
Lead discussion with New Energy Solutions and Acquisition Sales to develop strategy for development of competitive, winning proposals.
Lead contract negotiations with customers
Follow HSE policies and procedures as outlined in the HSE Management System including HSE training requirements.

Continuous Improvements:

Define, document, implement, and support continual proposal process improvement.
Manage post-proposal analysis of submitted RFI/RFP documents.
Facilitate post tender client feedback and “lessons learned” process.
Help in the development of new tools, methods, process and standardization of bid and RFI materials & templates to improve review cycle times and eliminate bid errors.
Measure performance KPIs bid workloads, schedule performance, quality of bids.
Utilize lessons learned from past projects to improve proposal and quality of projects in the execution phase.

Job Requirements (Education and Experience):

Minimum a Master’s degree in Business, Geophysics, Geology or a related field.
Extensive, relevant experience in the offshore energy sector, experience from seismic acquisition operations is an advantage.
