As N-able’s Sr. HR Generalist (People Advocate), you are the front line to our employees and leaders which requires quickly becoming a trusted advisor to our U.S. based employees. In this dynamic and multifaceted role, you will advise and execute the full spectrum of global human resource strategies and programs to enable the business to achieve its goals. This role will have a strong emphasis on employee relations, performance coaching, performance management and conducting complex investigations. In addition, the role requires the ability to interpret and implement policies, effectively partner with managers to build performance improvement plans, conduct exit interviews, and partner on terminations in accordance with our policy and government-mandated regulations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to closely partner with the People Team CoE’s including Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Engagement and other groups to hone your skills within a large, diverse and global employer with opportunities for career development.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with People Team functional area specialists (Compensation, Benefits, Talent, & People Tech), as well as business leaders to develop, implement and communicate programs aligned to functional goals.
Play an active role in benefits & rewards, performance management, engagement, retention & mobility to maintain a great place to work.
Lead complex investigations and provide guidance and advice to management and employees on highly sensitive and confidential workplace issues. This will include harassment, discrimination, retaliation complaints, complex accommodation requests, wage & hour, and performance/disciplinary issues.
Resolve employee matters in a fair, consistent, timely and accurate manner while keeping aligned with N-able’s policies and procedures to minimize potential legal risk.
Provide assistance in generating and distributing required reports by developing queries for analysis and operational effectiveness.
Process employee exits/terminations via exit interviews and ensuring all is recorded in N-ablite Central.
Provide recommendations and implement solutions to motivate, develop and retain employees.
Lead, facilitate and/or participate in projects and employee training including New Hire Orientation, Engagement, Annual Rewards, etc.

What You'll Bring

Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory guidelines within US employment and labor laws (broader North American legal knowledge is preferred)
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in human resources or business (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 5+ years of experience in employee relations and human resources
Possess resilience and ability to handle a high-volume workload and pivot within a dynamic environment
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, establish trust and credibility and act with complete integrity
Strong business acumen and broad experience with a proven track record and ability to partner and collaborate with colleagues, functional specialists, and internal clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to prepare written reports, correspondence, and presentations
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, SharePoint, SAP Success Factors)
