As a Technical Training Architect, you will

This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver creative and modern learning experiences, including in-person training, workshops, hands-on labs, and webinars

Create technical training classes and training materials, including custom labs and documentation

Help create, maintain, and improve the technical systems and environments used in hands-on labs, including labs used in technical interviews

Lead training sessions on technical certifications, including AWS and Terraform; help Mission Cloud achieve certification goals

Create and maintain technical onboarding curricula for engineering teams, including individualized training paths for skill gaps

Create skill assessments to accurately measure AWS, cloud engineering, and DevOps skills

Work with department leadership to identify areas of skill development necessary for client work

Develop and manage technical expertise programs, including subject matter expert programs

Work with team members to build growth plans for technical skills and provide one on one tutoring

Evaluate external technical training programs and consultants; select appropriate partners to fulfill skill development needs

Partner with AWS to plan and schedule AWS specific training, especially on new technology

Monitor changes to technical landscape and maintain up to date technical expertise

Requirements

Ability to provide formal or informal technical training to engineers

Ability to deploy AWS infrastructure using IaC, including Terraform

Ability to build CI/CD pipelines

Ability to build containerization solutions (infrastructure, pipelines, automation) using docker (dockerfiles, ECS, ECS Fargate) or kubernetes (manifests, helm and deployment tooling, KOPS, EKS, EKS, or Fargate)

Ability to work with cloud native architecture and design methodologies that utilize cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda from AWS and design principles, patterns, security etc.

Ability to work in system administration (Linux & Windows OS) with advanced knowledge of storage, security, networking, and virtualization

Knowledge of Python, including a deep understanding of tooling and application development

AWS Professional Certification (required within 90 days of employment)

Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and ability as evaluated during the interview process. Range: $128,448-159,725
