RESILIENT MISSION AUTONOMY

Our autonomous systems team is adding a talented lead software engineer with interests in autonomous systems, planning, and artificial intelligence. In this position, you will develop software and contribute ideas for technologies on a variety of topics such as autonomy, navigation, command and control, decision making, system modeling, anomaly detection, health prognostics management, and simulation. Our team is dedicated to creating resilient mission autonomy by increasing the capability, reliability and longevity of autonomous vehicles. You will be part of and lead dynamic and motivated teams that design and implement solutions for some of the most capable and advanced autonomous systems on or off the planet.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or other applicable field of study
At least 5 years’ experience contributing to and leading small teams
Object-oriented programming proficiency in Java and/or C++
Ability to breaking down larger features into smaller, more specific tasking for junior staff
Ability to manage n multiple projects and coordinate with management
Ability to create requirements and seek out answers from team members, partners and customers
US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED; Successful candidates will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Desired Qualifications

Autonomous systems experience
Experience developing and testing code for applied research
Experience using CI/CD and DevOps
