The Director of the Inside Sales leads a team of Sales Managers and their respective Account Executives toward meeting and exceeding their individual and team quotas. The team focuses on selling Greenway Revenue Services (Revenue Cycle Management). As the leader of this team, the Director serves as a mentor and cultivates a results-oriented environment. This role ensures the team is educated and has the necessary tools to sell Revenue Cycle Management to existing Greenway customers and prospects. The Director assists individuals on the team with uncovering and closing Revenue Cycle deals while ensuring that the team is Building Pipelines, Managing Existing Accounts, Building Territory Plans, and helping drive Strategic Initiatives and Campaigns. The Directors also assist in building and coaching talent to ensure that individual contributors and managers are self-sufficient and working efficiently. Finally, the Director plays a role in working with varying departments to assist with and guide Product Strategy, Customer Communications, Marketing Campaigns, Events, etc. This role will know and understand the team pipeline, set and measure activity expectations, monitor deals, and get involved with negotiating directly with the customer as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Will be very familiar with Sales Process to ensure the team is following standard procedures that will result in revenue generation
Provides guidance and support to the team in navigating the organization as well as the industry
Responsible for weekly forecast and, as needed, assisting Sales Consultants and Sales Managers with contract negotiations and final close
Develops and executes revenue-generating business plans for assigned territory and drives sales of Greenway products and ensures records are well maintained for all sales contacts and activities within the territory
Works closely with new team members to ensure training and understanding of products, services, and how to sell and differentiate Greenway in the market
Partners closely across the organization with Legal, Professional Services, Sales Operations, RCM, Sales Performance, Training, Customer Support, and other teams to ensure optimal performance
Maintains a deep knowledge and understanding of the industry and Greenway products and service offerings

Skills & Requirements

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Information Management or related field
Six (6)+ years of sales experience or experience in healthcare with an aptitude toward sales and results
Two (2)+ years of Sales Management experience

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Solid management and leadership abilities required
Excellent coaching and mentoring skills required
In-depth knowledge of key technology and healthcare concepts required to sell complex software solutions
Solid understanding of physician office workflow with in-depth knowledge in billing workflow
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with, negotiate with and persuade physicians and Practice Administrators
Knowledge of and an interest in current healthcare business challenges, products, and sales practices
Previous experience with customer relationship software (CRM) is preferred; Salesforce.com is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Customer service skills with a high level of professionalism
Strong desire to learn
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Able to manage a variety of tasks concurrently

Work Environment/Physical Demands

While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for most of the workday
This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard for most of their workday
This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for extended periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as in-coming and out-going communications via the computer and/or mobile devices
The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to clients and other associates
