CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for a (Systems) Software Developer (Manager) with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.

The successful candidate will work with customers and within a larger team leading team members to design, develop, and maintain internal cloud-based software/application solutions to enable the discovery of content within data repositories and systems utilizing machine learning and cloud-based technologies. Candidate will be working with the existing customer and development team to create functional enhancements to the existing applications and interfaces. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies will be essential for this position. The applicant should have experience in interface design, various database solutions, development, and testing platforms, as well as DevOps tools. Proven experience developing applications using one or more of the development platforms is required with a preference towards cloud-based solutions.

The candidate is expected to actively participate in requirements capture and deployment strategy meetings with the customer, and will be responsible for application architecture, development, deployment, administration, systems operation, and testing. Additionally, the candidate must be equally comfortable working independently or with a team, be self-motivated, exhibit strong problem-solving skills, and have an aptitude for learning new technologies. The position is in Northern Virginia, but exact location may vary. Some travel may be necessary with this position.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Strong software application development experience.
Experience with complete solution architecture/full stack development
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

3-5+ years of leading a team of software development professionals.
3+ years of software application development in an Agile environment, including designing, testing, and implementation of new functionality.
Experience with complete solution architecture, including integration, security, data modeling, and reporting.
Deep experience developing with application technologies such as JavaScript & JS Frameworks, Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSF), Scala, SOLR,
Experience with technologies such as Git, Jenkins, security inspection tools, AWS, cloud-based search services, Linux/Unix, Relational and non-relational databases (RDS/MySQL/Postgres, DynamoDB)
2+ years in secure US Government environments.
Experience with jQuery, AJAX, and JSON.
Working knowledge of various JS and UI Frameworks (Angular, Bootstrap) and scripting languages (JS, Python, PERL).
Agile development/DevOps experience.
Experience with Software Development Testing tools (e.g. Jest, Karma) and containerization of applications.
