We are seeking a DBA to support of our customer OCC to implement new workflow to accommodate primary security group requests as well as non-activity based secondary group requests.

Responsibilities:

Data Modeling and Design: Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve Appian product data
Data Management and Strategy: Develop strategies for data sources, and implementation of a database structure
Data Security: Work to ensure the consistent security of the organization's data by implementing appropriate access controls and data encryption methods
Performance Tuning: Optimize database systems for performance efficiency
Integration: Work closely with the Appian development team to integrate Appian products with existing databases, and to ensure that the applications can effectively use defined data structures
Collaboration: Work with other IT team members and management to understand and define business needs and translate them into a data architecture framework that aligns with Appian's capabilities and best practices
Data Governance: Establish rules, standards, and guidelines for data distribution to maintain data accuracy and security.

Specific Skills Required:

Strong understanding of SQL (MS SQL Server)
Ability to write complex SQL queries.
Ability to create and modifying various database objects such as stored procedures, views, tables, triggers using MS SQL Server
Knowledge of database design principles including normalization, data integrity and indexing
Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
5 years SSIS experience
